Bible cover and shawl

Been looking for a cover for my old, plain cover. Can't find any shops stocking them. Decided to crochet one myself and added some bookmarks as well. Saw this pattern of shawl in book and decided to crochet it in green. Find myself liking green a lot these days. Will wait for a friend's birthday to come along to give it away. Wonder who will be the lucky gal?

Anushka's Birthday Present

Made this lovable doll for Anushka's 6th birthday on 14 Mar 2009. Loves the fuschia pink and lavender colours used in making doll's costume. The petal skirt is so sweet!

Amigurumi - Turtle

Made this turtle for Jordan's friend- Julia's birthday. Like the mixed colour yarn used for making the turtle shell.

Hatz Mania!

Suddenly, developed a craze for making hats. Bookstores, libraries, websites....... hunting for the perfect hat. I love the newsboy cap but yet to find the right pattern. Model Jordan posing with Mod Cap (in light brown, single crochet) and Jockey Cap (light green, double crochet), Josh in marron Jockey Cap and me in blue Duck's bill cap. Working on a grey one now, will see how it turns out.
