Farewell gifts for Jane

Jane and family are leaving for Ohio, USA on 22 Jun 2009 as hubby Swee Weng is going to further his studies. They will be away for 2 years. Made this brown cap for her. Design and colour was chosen by her. Made another scarf for her as surprise gift for sendoff at Changi airport. (in the end, gave it to her earlier at her home that day as can't bear the tearful atmosphere at airport) It's made in her favourite green colour. Added the flowers as finishing touch. Can be used in autumn or even spring, to accessorise clothing. I like the colur and design myself, might just make one for myself.

Joanne's 5th birthday present - Hello Kitty!

Burnt 2 nights' midnight oil to complete this Hello Kitty for Joanne. After that, hands were numb, so have to lay aside needles for a week. Ha, ha!

Made this doily for Sapna as gift who invited us to her place for Indian breakfast of chapatis and tea.

More corsages

These flower corsages are real easy to make using double and triple crochet. It's 3-D and with the fancy yarns, they make good and quick gifts. Made blue one for Jane as Mother's Day present and pink for Kristiina and purple for Celine as belated birthday gifts.
