Rebecca's Birthday

3 days after Amanda's birthday comes Rebecca's (Amanda's mummy) on 20 Dec. Knitted her a dark, chocolatey bear (looks like Mr Bean's except for the eyes and a flower). Added a garter stitch scarf to accessorise the look. Hope she will like it since she said she had not received a doll / stuffed toy before.

Amanda's 5th Birthday

Amanda had a princess theme party where the girls dressed up as princesses and boys (supposed) to dress up as princes. My son, Joshua chose to dress up as a dragon. His words:"I want to be a fire breathing dragon, to eat up the princesses!" Recycled Josh's previous year's Halloween costume for party. (Actually, planned to make him a prince costume but he refused to wear one. sigh!) Knitted this reversible doll for Amanda. Very interesting design. Had great fun making it. Wanted to knit for her a princess doll but couldn't find a nice design. (Later, found it in a beautiful book "Knitted and Felted Toys" by Zoe Halstead) Never mind, there'll always be another birthday where I'll get my chance to knit one.

Daniel's Birthday Present

Made this brightly coloured teddy for Daniel's 2nd Birthday. He celebrated it earlier during our Halloween party on 1 Nov 2008. That's why you see him dressed up as a damaltian clutching the teddy.
